Hello and welcome,

It is my honor to serve as the Community Engagement Chair for Norfolk Council of PTAs. The regular daily life of students and parents can be quite hectic and this fast pace requires that we occasionally stop and ENGAGE.  Engage in ourselves with family.  Engage our community and engage our minds. Community engagement is important to the student’s success and academic achievement.  Ideally, we all would like to have more time to engage with family and community members.  My goal as Community Engagement Chair is to use creative ways of reaching out to the community to promote more involvement.  I would also like to develop a partnership between NCPTA and community partners to provide more opportunities to increase the level and quality of family activities. Please feel free to contact me about anything you would like to see on the NCPTA web site, events you would like to invite us to, or to submit photos of our events that you may have taken.

Sincerely,

Sandi Azud

NCPTA Community Engagement Chair

NEW Audit Form!!

Are you anxiously awaiting the end of your fiscal year to prepare your Treasurer Records for audit? We have a new audit form for Presidents and Treasurers to use together with their Audit Committee ... and it's a complete financial review with step-by-step instructions. It tells you how to organize your books, who can serve on your Audit Committee and explains the purpose of our audit process. It's longer - but don't get "page number shock" because it is simple to follow.

Check out the NEW Audit Report Instructions and NEW Audit Report!!  For convenient access - they're also posted in the Quick Links.
